Carrollton Man Arrested and Charged on Suspicion of Statutory Rape
On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, Carrollton police received information regarding a sexual offense involving a minor. While following up on the lead, officers located and arrested Alex Beech, 18, of Carrollton, for suspicion of Statutory Rape. Beech, who is accused of the crime involving a 13 year old victim, has been formally charged with Statutory Rape in the First Degree, an Unclassified Felony, and is currently being held in lieu of a $100,000.00 bond on that charge.
Beech has also been charged with a Probation Violation and is currently being held on that charge, in lieu of a $30,000.00 bond.
Beech is currently in custody at the Ray County Detention Center and is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
